These Truths We Sing: Songs of Freedom, Equality and Peace

Willamette University's choral ensembles present a special program to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. Selections will explore American identity and ideals, and offer a reflective survey of American choral music by composers past and present. Works by Amy Beach, Irving Berlin, Coral Barnett, Adolphus Hailstork, Samuel Barber, David Lang, Morten Lauridsen, and other American composers will be presented alongside familiar folk and patriotic anthems.
