Special Business Advocacy: Ballot Measure Panel Discussion

Join us for a Special Business Advocacy Meeting on December 11 (2:00-3:00pm), as we convene a panel to discuss both sides of two key upcoming ballot measures. Hear from both proponents and opponents of these measures so you can make an informed decision when it comes time to vote!

Transportation Package Tax Referendum:
Representative Ed Diehl (HD17) will provide information on why voters should approve the referendum, and an invited representative from SEIU will provide reasons why voters should not approve the referendum.

Estate Tax Nullification:
Representative Kevin Mannix (HD21) will present the favorable argument for removing the estate tax, and Jody Wiser, President and Founder of Tax Fairness Oregon, will present why removing the estate tax could harm Oregonians and public services.
