Join Oregon Humane for a day of community, compassion, and impact!

Oregon Humane’s Day of Giving is a multi-media fundraiser, supply drive, and volunteer experience that brings our community together to support lifesaving programs for animals in need. Businesses, organizations, and community members are invited to participate and make a difference through sponsorship, corporate giving, pet supply drives, and volunteer opportunities.

A Televised Fundraiser

Day of Giving is Oregon Humane’s most visible fundraiser of the year. Through a media partnership with KPTV FOX 12, this telethon-style event shares inspiring stories of the animals and people impacted by Oregon Humane’s mission. Funds raised help provide critical services, including medical care for sick and injured animals, shelter, food, enrichment, and continued support for animals throughout our community.

A Day of Service & Community Impact

Businesses looking to engage employees and make a meaningful difference are invited to participate in Oregon Humane’s Day of Service. This hands-on volunteer experience provides teams with an opportunity to give back while supporting animal welfare in our community.

Salem’s Day of Service will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, and volunteers will have the opportunity to:

• Participate in a fun and meaningful service project
• Learn more about Oregon Humane’s mission
• Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the Oregon Humane facility
• Visit our kennels and meet some of the animals in our care
