Diane McLaran
McLaran Leadership Foundation President

Diane McLaran recently retired after 17 years of employment with Chemeketa Community College as the Director of Community Relations. Diane's path to leadership had its challenges: fleeing an abusive relationship, reinventing herself, finding love with Mike McLaran only to lose him suddenly to a heart attack, and then finding a new purpose in life.
 
Diane received an Associate’s Degree from Lane Community College shortly after high school and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Leadership at the age of 40, which opened more career opportunities for her. In the past, Diane’s leadership career has also included: CEO of the Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director of the Salem Association of Realtors.
 
Diane has served on numerous non-profit Boards and currently serves on the Boards for Salem Free Clinics, Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, and the McLaran Leadership Foundation. Though Diane has lived in many cities on the East and West coasts, Salem feels most like “home.”
