As Co-Publisher and Director of Community Engagement at WhirLocal Salem, Pam plays a vital role in championing local businesses, nonprofits, and residents through a unique community-based local media model. WhirLocal Salem publishes a digital magazine, weekly email newsletter, and business directory designed to connect people with local resources and stories while offering marketing tools that help businesses and nonprofits strengthen their online presence, reputation, and reach.
With over 30 years of experience living, working, and building relationships in Salem, Pam brings a deep understanding of the community and an unwavering passion for its success.
In 2023, she and her husband, Tim, also co-founded WhirLocal Media Group LLC, expanding WhirLocal's innovative local media model into additional markets across Oregon and the U.S. through partnerships with independent publishers.
Pam is also a highly active member of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as a volunteer Chamber Ambassador and has held leadership roles, including Vice-Chair and Chair of the Chamber Business Women and Chamber Greeters.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Pam enjoys playing the piano and leading worship at church, singing with her husband, and showering affection on their beloved "grand-dog," Luca. Her warmth and enthusiasm make her an engaging speaker and she passionately believes that "Thinking Local" Matters.
