Chamber Business Women: "What To Do in Salem This Summer"
Keynote Speaker: Carlee Wright, Press Play Salem Editor
We all know Salem has a lot to offer, but with our busy schedules, we often don't have the energy to look for where to spend the little downtime we have. At our Chamber Business Women Luncheon in June, Press Play Salem's Carlee Wright will help by showing us the fun activities to do in town as the weather brightens and warms up this summer. Learn the hottest spots to take your entire family and where you can unwind.
About Our Speaker:
Carlee Wright is a community organizer with a deep affection for Salem and a penchant for stylish footwear. Carlee is the driving force behind Press Play Salem, the primary source for information about events and activities in Salem. She serves as the Marketing Maven for the Elsinore Theatre and also operates her own business as a freelance graphic designer and marketing consultant.
Having relocated to Salem 20 years ago, she has been actively engaged in various community endeavors. Carlee has showcased her dancing skills and demonstrated cultural cooking at the World Beat Festival, co-curated TEDxSalem, and championed efforts to promote sustainability by creating clothing from discarded materials such as Crown Royal bags and expired gift cards. Additionally, she played a key role in founding the local arts nonprofit, The Moxie Initiative, contributed to the launch of Cherry City Roller Derby, and is a regular contributor to the World Beat Gallery. Carlee is deeply committed to her community, striving to bring people together, encourage active participation, and promote stepping outside comfort zones to foster new connections and knowledge.
