Join us for our Business Advocacy Meeting on December 4, as a panel of local leaders addresses several important issues and topics affecting our local business community.
Ruth Miles, Government Relations with Salem Health, will provide context surrounding Medicaid funding, H.R. 1, and its impact locally.
Representative Kevin Mannix (HD 21) will discuss some of his priorities for the upcoming legislative session.
Nicole Palmateer Hazelbaker, owner of Bravio Communications and SACC's contracted lobbyist, will present on the recent State of Oregon budget deficit drop and what that means for government services and our business community.
Salem Fire Chief David Gerboth will update our members about the Marion County Commissioners' support provided in November for county mental health workers' co-response teams with Salem Fire Department responding to calls downtown.
Josh Eggelston, Chief Financial Officer, City of Salem, will give an update on program parameters, goals and provide resources for the new "Buy Salem" initiative for public bids.
