Celebrate this WWII Relic Flying Fortress’s 77th birthday!
Tour the Museum and hear stories of valor about women who served with dedication because it was the “Right Thing” to do. Enjoy a commemorative soda float, learn about the B-17 Restoration and help return this Flying Fortress to flight!

Presenting Seattle’s Museum of Flight, Alice Miller, a living historian who has dedicated her life to educating others.
Alice is a regular guest of the 8th Airforce Society and has a vast knowledge regarding women’s military apparel. Her display will educate and stimulate your mind!

B-17 Alliance honors the women who served during WWII. WWII was a turning point for American women and their leadership. Women came out of the home to pilot aircraft. Work in manufacturing plants and help the United States overcome this crisis that achieved Victory.
Tour the B-17 Alliance Museum to hear the story of the Romantic Secret Code Map, the Silk Parachute Wedding dress, and how our women and children utilized Ration Tickets and shared Victory Gardens in support of our men and women overseas.
The Lacey Lady is the B-17G Flying Fortress being returned to her original flying glory in the B-17 Alliance WWII Museum & Restoration Hangar.
Flown to Oregon in 1947 by the late Art Lacey on an Incredible Journey that brought her to Milwaukie, OR where she resided for nearly 70 years.
