This year represents an incredible milestone, as we celebrate the 75th First Citizen Awards! Join fellow business and non-profit leaders for an evening of entertainment and community passion as we recognize the philanthropists, community leaders, and volunteers who give their time, treasure, and talent every day to make Salem a better place to live and work in. With this being the 75th year of celebrating servant leadership in our community, we'll have some special surprises in store for attendees, too!

About the Event:

Since 1950, the Salem Chamber has honored those who exemplify servant leadership. These are individuals who, through their business, volunteering, and philanthropic efforts, improve the lives of those in the community by serving first.

The First Citizen Awards Banquet recognizes individuals in the categories of Outstanding Young Professional, Distinguished Service Award, and First Citizen. These men and women do remarkable things to make our community a better place and are examples of what happens when ordinary people act. It is a night that is both humbling and inspiring.
