2026 Great Willamette Cleanup – Salem: Wallace Marine Park

On October 10th, volunteers across Oregon will unite for the Great Willamette Cleanup, with sites stretching from the river’s headwaters to its confluence with the Columbia. We invite our Salem community members to join Willamette Riverkeeper, Castaway E.C.S, the Mid-Willamette Valley STREAM~N Team, and Salem Parks for an on-land cleanup in the northern portion of Wallace Marine Park. This portion of the park contains a dense riparian forest that lies directly in the floodplain of the Willamette River – volunteers are needed to help remove large amounts of trash before water levels rise in the winter!
