About Us

Instruction Construction is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides workforce development for young adults through hands on skill development for the construction and manufacturing industries. Students learn tool safety, basic blueprint reading, construction techniques to build a shed/tiny home, plumbing, electrical, and a variety of Essential Skills (soft and hard skills). Student learn about opportunities to become apprentices in a variety of trades:electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, pipe fitting, steam fitting, sheet metal, glazing, and construction. Both union and non-union paths are investigated and ways to improve the ability of a student to secure an apprenticeship.
