About Us

Capital Manor is a not-for-profit Life Plan Community serving older adults in Salem, Oregon. Since opening in 1963, Capital Manor has helped residents enjoy fulfilling, independent lives with the added security of quality continuing care. Its 40-acre campus offers apartment homes and spacious villas surrounded by landscaped grounds, walking paths, gardens and welcoming shared spaces.

Residents enjoy maintenance-free living, chef-prepared dining, wellness programs, educational opportunities, social activities, clubs and meaningful ways to stay connected. As individual needs change, residents have access to on-site residential care, memory care and home care services.

Capital Manor is governed by a local volunteer board and shaped by resident involvement. Its not-for-profit model allows resources to be reinvested into programs, amenities, services and campus improvements. With more than 60 years of experience, Capital Manor continues to provide an engaging retirement lifestyle built around hospitality, friendship, purpose and peace of mind.
