About Us

Dr. Angela Plowhead’s journey began as a signals intelligence analyst in the U.S. Air Force, laying the foundation for a lifetime of service and leadership. She earned degrees in communications technologies, human services, and clinical psychology, completing training at the Vanderbilt/VA consortium and the Portland VA. Now a Clinical Psychologist specializing in Geropsychology, Angela has devoted her career to veterans. She served 12 years in VA Medical Centers, including roles as a supervisory psychologist and mental health director for home-based primary care. In 2014, she opened her private practice, continuing to care for veterans and underserved individuals and providing expert testimony in court proceedings. Angela is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and serves as a Precinct Committee Person. She has contributed to the Marion County Indigent Guardianship Program Advisory Committee, supported CTEC's Behavioral Health tract, and served as Vice Chair of the Northwest Senior and Disability Services Senior Advisory Council. She has also served on the Clackamas County Senior Advisory Council and with the Marion County Soil & Water Conservation District. Angela also runs a nonprofit for Veteran Suicide Prevention, reflecting her deep commitment to service and community.
