DESCRIPTION:-Save the Date- \n\nRegistration will be opened late Spring. Watch your email for the registration opening date.\n\n\n\nThe Annual McLaran Classic is one of the best ways to connect with the mid-Willamette Valley's top business decision makers.\n\nGolfers of all skill levels are welcome in the featured 4-person scramble format. Sponsors are set up throughout the course to greet participants and treat golfers to food\, drinks\, and giveaways.\n\nIn a Scramble\, each player will tee off\, and the best ball is selected. Each player will then hit from that spot\, moving their ball no more than one club length. The best second shot is selected\, and everyone will then hit from that spot. This continues until the ball is holed.\n\n\n\nThe fun-filled day on the course will feature two shotgun-start tee times\, lunch\, a buffet dinner\, an awards reception\, games\, prizes\, and more!\n\nGolfer registration includes:\n\n\n	Cart\n	Lunch and Dinner (at Awards Reception)\n	Refreshments and Prizes at sponsored holes\n	Swag bag\n\n\nTeams may also purchase the Team Upgrade\, which includes:\n\n\n	Yellow Ball Contest\n	One Putt (1 per team)\n	Advantage Hole (1 per player)\n	50/50 raffle tickets (2 per player)\n\n\nGolf handicaps will be needed for each participating golfer. Maximum handicap is 30 for men and 35 for women. If you do not know or have a handicap\, select 25 (for men) and 30 (for women).\n\nIn Honor of Mike McLaran\n\nThe Salem Area Chamber of Commerce began its annual golf tournament in 1989. The tournament was renamed in 2013 in honor of Mike McLaran\, who passed away suddenly in March of that year. Mike served as CEO of the Salem Chamber for 16 years and was a leader\, a colleague\, a mentor\, and a friend to many in our community. His life was an example to all of us.\n\nEach year\, we have chosen to feature one of the "McLaranisms"   some of Mike's memorable wisdom about leadership\, life\, and success.\n\n\n\nThe McLaranism for this year is to come....
